It’s been a couple of years since we launched our very first free-to-play fishing game CarpCraft. In that time we’ve spent countless hours refining and fine tuning the in game economics, balancing gameplay mechanics and generally making a fun game that people love to play.
We’ll hold our hands up it’s not been easy, but with over 100k downloads we’ve now got a game that is starting to fulfill its early promise. We’ve seen great ARPU (Average revenue per user) stats and our playerbase is still growing daily.
Reviews are also very positive, so how do we take it to the next level?
We’re bringing CarpCraft to Europe! Our first foothold on the continent is to release a French localization of the game (as Carp fishing is hugely popular in France) so it made perfect sense to make this our first foray into foreign languages.
Having enlisted the help of our office neighbour and resident french speaking artist Robert he’s helped us translate and launch CarpCraft to a whole new audience.
